- {international units} vitamin A; 400 IU vitamin D; 11 IU vitamin E; 1.5 mg
- thiamine; 3 mg riboflavin; 20 mg niacin; 10 mg vitamin B6; 12 mcg vitamin B12;
- 120 mg vitamin C; 25 mg zinc; 2 mg copper)

- STORAGE

- These tablets should be stored at room temperature in a tightly closed,
- light-resistant container.

- USES
-
- This product is a multivitamin and mineral supplement for use during
- pregnancy and nursing.

- TREATMENT
-
- In order to avoid stomach irritation, you can take this product with food
- or with a full glass of water or milk.
- If you miss a dose of this medication, take the missed dose as soon as
- possible, unless it is almost time for the next dose. In that case, do not
- take the missed dose at all; just return to your regular dosing schedule. Do
- not double the next dose.

- SIDE EFFECTS

- Minor.
-
- Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, stomach upset, or vomiting. These side
- effects should disappear as your body adjusts to the medication.
- To relieve constipation, increase the amount of fiber in your diet (fresh
- fruits and vegetables, salads, bran, and whole-grain breads), exercise, and
- drink more water (unless your doctor directs you to do otherwise).
- Black stools are a normal consequence of iron therapy and do not indicate
- a problem.

- Tell your doctor about any side effects that are persistent or
- particularly bothersome. IT IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR about
- bloody or tarry stools or severe abdominal pain.

- INTERACTIONS

- This product should not interact with other medications if it is used
- according to directions.

- WARNINGS

- * Tell your doctor about unusual or allergic reactions you have had to
- any medications, especially to any vitamins, minerals, or iron.
- * Be sure to tell your doctor if you have ever had bone disease, liver
- disease, kidney disease, or stomach ulcers.
- * Because this product may mask the symptoms of pernicious anemia, it
- should be used only under a doctor's supervision.
