  38.      These tablets should be stored at room temperature in a tightly closed,
  39. light-resistant container.

  41. USES
  42.  
  43.      This product is a multivitamin and mineral supplement for use during
  44. pregnancy and nursing.
  45.  
  46. TREATMENT
  47.  
  48.      In order to avoid stomach irritation, you can take this product with food
  49. or with a full glass of water or milk.
  50.      If you miss a dose of this medication, take the missed dose as soon as
  51. possible, unless it is almost time for the next dose.  In that case, do not
  52. take the missed dose at all; just return to your regular dosing schedule.  Do
  53. not double the next dose.

  55. SIDE EFFECTS
  56.  
  57.      Minor.
  58.  
  59.      Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, stomach upset, or vomiting.  These side
  60. effects should disappear as your body adjusts to the medication.
  61.      To relieve constipation, increase the amount of fiber in your diet (fresh
  62. fruits and vegetables, salads, bran, and whole-grain breads), exercise, and
  63. drink more water (unless your doctor directs you to do otherwise).
  64.      Black stools are a normal consequence of iron therapy and do not indicate
  65. a problem.

  69.      Tell your doctor about any side effects that are persistent or
  70. particularly bothersome.  IT IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR about
  71. bloody or tarry stools or severe abdominal pain.

  75.      This product should not interact with other medications if it is used
  76. according to directions.

  80.      * Tell your doctor about unusual or allergic reactions you have had to
  81. any medications, especially to any vitamins, minerals, or iron.
  82.      * Be sure to tell your doctor if you have ever had bone disease, liver
  83. disease, kidney disease, or stomach ulcers.
  84.      * Because this product may mask the symptoms of pernicious anemia, it
  85. should be used only under a doctor's supervision.
